With this tool it is possible to:

Priva MSTP logger is a program that captures all data of a serial port and writes it into a file that can be read by Wireshark after logging. The advantage of this method of logging is that there is no state machine or other intelligence in between. So there is no risk of interpreted data.

To use this program, you need to have USB to RS485 hardware:

• for example an ADAM-4561-CE RS485 to USB converter of Advantech.
• or another galvanically isolated RS485 converter.
